Tantus Silicone Hardness

Contributor: David88 David88
So I just my Tantus Cody and noticed how much softer the silicone is than my Tantus Ace Royal. Do these two products use a different silicone is it the fact that my Tantus Ace Royal is an older silicone formula that's not as soft? For reference the Ace Royal is pink and I got it directly from you guys on clearance. Thanks for any information you can give.

I am not sure, but I think that different Tantus toys have a differnt firmness. I have 2 different toys the Vamp (which has more give) and the Deuce 2. Maybe it depends on the type of stimulation that the toy is intended to deliver? I'm not sure, but I have noticed the same thing.

I have also noticed that the firmness of Tantus' silicone varies by product. I assumed it was based on what color you got that would affect the chemical compound of the silicone, but I coudl be wrong... Tantus, I'd love to hear you chime in on this topic!

Tantus has at least three grades of firmness, possibly more.

So Brian,

Which do you prefer, the Ace or the Cody?

I like the shape of the Cody. Unfortunately, at 1.75", it is just a little bigger than my comfort zone.

I recently purchased the Tantus Curve dildo and it also seems softer, squishier (in a good way) than many of their earlier toys. It looks like they may be moving in the softer direction.

I might just have to try the Cody after all.

Curve and Cody are both nice, my only complaint with Cody is the big base, which easily gets in the way.

I think I still like Ace better because I like plugs with long necks but it's actually pretty comfortable once you get used to it. I'll post a link to my review when I'm done. Should be within the next week or 2.
