Just needing to complain...

This store and site is so different. Honestly, for all the reviews I contributed and all the work I put in, the change of using points to cover 15% is awful. For people like us who help your company out, I would expect the points to cover at LEAST 50%.

The shipping changes - really? The cheapest shipping is 7 DAY SHIPPING? Wow. Amazing.

This place used to be almost like another home for me, sexually. Now it is just... Just a company who cares NOTHING about their customers and everything about money.

I'm most likely leaving EdenFantasys. No offense. If someone else said this before last February, I'd beg them not to go. But I truly feel like this site/store/community is nothing anymore. It's pathetic and sad that all these changes were made after all the work I put into helping your company.

I so agree with you 1000% I told everyone I know about this site and put tons of hours of work into it and met some awesome people here and found out a lot about myself here and now I feel like all I am is just some shmuck that does not matter at all.

I guess I hadn't heard about the 15% rule. When did THAT start? I know that I haven't visited the site nearly as much since they changed the whole points structure. I used to visit (and contribute) often, but not so much anymore.

Well, if that is true, and I have no reason to doubt you, then here is a suggestion. Amazon hes A LOT of the same products that EF has, and in fact, they have one right now that is out of stock at EF, and they have attachments that EF doesn't seem to have. I'm talking about the Revel Body Sonic Vibrator, and it is the same price. If you are a Prime member (there is an annual fee), you get free 2 day shipping. Something to think about.

Not promoting any site, but just a suggestion based on your post - AVOID AMAZON AT ALL COST for adult toys. NUMEROUS toy manufacturers are currently suing Amazon because all of the cheap toys (pretty much too-good-to-be-true prices) are because they're COUNTERFEIT or KNOCK-OFF. They show pix of the real product and what you get is NOT anything the manufacturer produced, or is a copy of the item that isn't made from the same material, etc. ESPECIALLY the higher end products. The prices on most regular adult toys sites is already less than double wholesale - so that should tell you how far BELOW WHOLESALE and COMPLETELY WRONG those Amazon prices are. You're NOT getting the real thing at that price. Those people giving great reviews have obviously never had the toy previously and don't know the REAL feel or function they should have.

Hello SecretToyLover2,

I'm sorry you're disappointed with the changes that were made. Again, they were necessary, as the program grew out of control and out of budget. Yours and everybody else's contributions to the site are much appreciated and were generously rewarded. We can only hope people stay with the incentives not as generous as they used to be, but if not it is your choice.

That said, we do believe we are on the fair grounds with all of our contributors.

And the shipping: 7 days is the worst case scenario estimate for the cheapest (often free) option you can get.

I've never had a package from Eden take 7 days to arrive. It normally takes them four business days, which is normal for most places.

Also, if you combine your buyout discount with 15% in points, you get around 40% off of the purchase price. That's actually an incredible deal and often is the same as Amazon... without having to worry about knockoffs.

To add to your comment (like I did for Holly Wood's above), I always see my package ship within a few hours which is amazing to have that fast a turnaround and get it out in the mail! Then I receive mine in two days, but that's because I live in a state closer to the shipping state. And I always choose the free option, too!

I really do believe Ilya when he says their estimate is the worst case scenario. As a matter of fact, Eden's BizRate rating for on time delivery is 9.2 out of 10, mainly because they get orders to people so darn fast & under the estimate!

Let's face it, no other site did what Eden did as far as rewarding customers and it was crazy generous! Apparently, but not surprisingly, it was unsupportable and had to be changed. I agree with Sincerely Yours, N, combining all the discounts we still get, the deals are still really good! Yeah, everybody wants a good thing to never end, but there's no going backwards and I'm glad to still have what we do have instead of every reward being cancelled! I still think when comparing the overall value and service, etc., there are many good reasons to remain!

Firstoff, Eden is tied with Delia's for my favorite online retailer, mainly 'cause I've never encountered any problems with my orders. If anything, they usually arrive early! Plus, I really love the community (it's actually the reason I joined the site in the first place)

That being said, I feel ya! I spent a good 2 months accumulating over 2400-2600 points in hopes of finally being able to buy something normally out of my price range...

I absolutely understand. And I put in nan order for a glass dildo, right? And it arrives in the thinnest and least padded plastic shipping envelope. It was a miracle it didn't break! I guess boxes aren't needed for fragile items?

And I am even more upset. I placed what I assumed would be my last order. Bought the big purple hitachi style wand (link) for a friend from out of town's birthday. I ordered it not needing it for a week. Figured hey, it will be here early but no problem! Well, it isn't even here yet. It has been 12 days and it is still not even delivered. I, who is pretty darn low on cash and only makes purchases when I can afford, had to go out and buy her a totally different (and crappier, since I was broke as hell) gift. I can't wait to see if it freakin arrives in plastic bubble wrap or not.

I have another profile (SecretToyLover) and in both, I put hours of work in to help this company grow. I am just regretting so much. I'm only staying for the mean time because I can't seem to find another to switch to or a good local place.

I'm not saying I hate our community... But the store? I'm losing my love,

Yup - the 15% is true. Thank you so much for that great idea, I totally wish I had read this prior to my last order. I feel SO in the hole on money now...

As I mentioned in a comment, I made an order on the 9th and it isn't even here yet. Was supposed to be a birthday gift for a best friend from out of town. That order was such a waste as it didn't arrive yet, yes, I can keep it for myself and whatnot. But as being someone whom had brain surgery and is in debt up to her bald head, these things are just hard,

I did thinking and I can understand the change of using points on entire orders. But I wish there was a better way to fix these things. Did you all try only allowing a free order of ONE product under a certain amount per so many months? Did you try suspending/deleting accounts that seemed to be over-doing things or possibly fake? Did you try to make a limit of a rating before someone could make a free order?

Regardless of the free - because being poor as a penny - the shipping changes are truly the worst. Not in a mean way, but... I guess an upset way. Maybe I have an attachment here or just care too much. But the shipping itself is what is starting to suck really bad. I hope you all take these thoughts to heart and understand I am not trying to be hateful.

I'm so far waiting for a package,,, day #12... I came to accept the change of points when I put myself on EF's shoes. But shipping needs help. Big time.

And also - shipping a glass dildo in such fragile packaging? No longer a box? I wouldn't have ordered if I would have known it wouldn't come in a box like it should. Miracle it didn't break. Thank god for your folks who package these products. But boxes are more important than you can really imagine.

We have heard the issues with glass items and have implemented changes to better protect them during shipping. If your item arrives damaged - please let us know and we will remedy the situation for you right away.
