Hey there!

So, it says in the "How it Works" section of the EdenPoints Program that

" The Trial Period will automatically end when the user has been registered for 15 days, and has completed all of the mandatory Eden Points tasks for the Trial Period. Upon the completion of these two requirements - the 'Trial Period' is upgraded to 'Regular'. "

I have now be registered for 16, and I am still listed as a trial member. Is the update not-so-automatic? I'm relatively sure I've done all the required tasks to be upgraded (not that I can find a specific list outlining what I should do).

Oh, okay, so it isn't actually automatic. I know Stormy has a lot on her plate so I won't bother her right away. ^ ^ Thanks for the heads-up and the welcome!

I'm also new and have a related question - is there a list somewhere of all the "mandatory" tasks that you need to complete? Or do you need to do every single one on the dashboard at least once? I've tried searching a few time the last couple of days and haven't found the answer, I expect a lot of other new members would like to know too...

Otherwise, I look forward to contributing to EF, it looks great! I wish we'd found this earlier, then we wouldn't need to replace so many of our toys...

Unfortunately this is a really new change for all of us so not many will know the exact answer to this. Hopefully when Stormy comes back she'll be able to have a good answer for you.

Hey everyone, yeah this one is new for me too...so I need to get my hands on the original documentation for the changes to see what exactly trips it either way...I'm thinking there is/should be a notifier that tells you what's left...the only thing that's coming to mind is if you haven't written a review yet, but I don't see why that would be the "kill switch" so to speak.

I'll look into it as soon as I can tomorrow.

I'm just doing a run through on the forum and then it's off to celebrate the day with hubby and some ice cold beer.

I am curious about the mandatory tasks too. It's very confusing because it tells you to do an upgrade request and to request a mentor plus it also asks you to like things on facebook but what if you don't have a facebook or want to share your facebook?

I wish there were something that clearly listed what is mandatory and what is not.

I was stuck in trial period after my 15 days, too, even after doing pretty much every points activity that I could complete. Stormy took care of it for me so now I'm a regular member I agree that a list of what the mandatory activities are would be helpful for future new members. Hope you get things sorted out!

I'm having this same issue, it's been a few days since 15 and I've completed most of the tasks save for ones that require a facebook so I'm not sure what's going on.

Same here. I've been here since May 14 and have written several reviews as well as doing all of the tasks. There's really not much info for new members to go on when it comes to this.

It is confusing and I'm also still a trial member despite being here more than the trial period and have done pretty much all the points tasks, including writing advanced reviews for over a week now.

That thread was posted on May 9th, anyone that joined after that was put into the trial period.
