Coming from a "sheltered" background how comfortable are you using Eden Fantasy's knowing that your family and friends might be aware?

I just make separate accounts for all my Eden Fantasys things. Different FB account, different e-mail, different Pinterest. You could also do a different Twitter account. Don't mix the accounts and you'll be sheltered as much as you can be.

there are tons of members that have diff FB pages for ef. esp so they can get the fb friends deals and not worry about offending any family members. there is nothing wrong with using an online alias to protect your privacy

I like my privacy & I also know that some family members, for whatever reason, would not be comfortable knowing about my activities on the site. I'm answering this as a person who is from a sheltered, religious background, which DOES make a difference & I believe is who you wanted to hear from?
I have no shame about sex, but it's not their business in the first place. That said, I have no problem with them knowing I use the site, but I know they'd be uncomfortable knowing the details, so it's easier to avoid any issues in the first place.
As for my siblings, I really believe their reaction would be, "Okay, good for you...uh, so why are you telling me this?" And really, who with a similar background, would tell their parents what specific acts get them off? If you wouldn't go into detail face to face with them, why would you want them reading such personal details on the site where they might come across your posts? (I'm NOT talking about those who have a more open relationship with their family.)
It may be easy for some to say they don't care, but I do care about how family feels & I wouldn't want them upset about something they have no control over or reason to even know about. It's not because I'm uncomfortable, it's that I don't want to make them uncomfortable.

My family isn't on my facebook but my friends and some customers are XD I choose to separate my Eden stuff from my other social sites.
I'm not from a sheltered background, well, my parent's didn't tell me much at all about sex (except how horrible it will probably hurt and how disgusting penises are), I learned most of what I know from the internet when I was a young teen XD I'm not shy about sex stuff now, but I don't flaunt it.

I really couldn't care less if they knew or not.
When in North America, I ask if I can have parcels delivered to my sisters house, she wants to know what is in them for customs sake if she is bringing the shipments to Canada. I ask her if she really wants to know. She knows what I get.
I think my other family members know, and frankly, I don't really care what they think about it.
I do care however; if my students know about it. Seeing as I have to have all my mail delivered to the school.
