It's not the words it's the judgement behind them that's bad.

I think everyone should just do whatever they so desire.

I honestly don't know what that acronym means. Lol. I'm not into the BDSM community...yet. :"D

But I don't think people should judge. What you have fun with in your own time is YOUR business.

Cool post. I think that overall terms like that are damaging, and pretty useless. I mean really, wasn't even the most hardcore sadist or masochist a wannabe at some point?

There are a lot of people that are going to judge someone for something they are doing because "they" think it's inappropriate. I say, let everyone do what they want to do, stop the name calling, and live our own lifes and quit worrying about others.

I posted a long time ago on this, and I still feel that if a couple or group is enjoying their sexual activities, it's no one's place to tell them they are "doing it wrong." (Unless they ask for advice and are possibly doing something dangerous, like risky anal sex practices, binding that could result in permanent injury etc, however if they know the risks and decide to continue anyway, that it their choice.)

I do find it odd, (although it isn't my business) when I hear someone say or post, "We're in a full time Master/slave relationship, but I control all my own decisions and our relationship is always 50/50, even during sex. I mean, I'm not doing his laundry and I have all my own finances etc." (an actual near quote from an other website F-Life....) I'm not quite sure what to make of that, but then again, it's really none of my business.

I'm not a real BDSM person if that involves bloodletting, the use of medical devices, etc. I would prefer the term light BDSM or maybe BDSM curious. To say I'm not real or am a wannabe would be kind of lame I think.
