#AskEden - Items not showing up in search?

When i went to my 'my favorite products" page, and went to the search option-it has a list of items already there to choose from. I scrolled through that list and found a few items that my wife and I had not found before. There was a soy candle from principessa beauty collection.

The soy candle was one of them. Never seen it before, even though we had scrolled through the beauty and bath stuff, and actually searched for candles and soy candles specifically. So then, we thought "maybe we just missed it before".

We went to the home page and searched "soy candle" and it didn't pull up in the search. We typed in Principessa and principessa beauty and still, the candle did not show.

we are now wondering how many other awesome products that we're missing out on

Was wondering if anyone knew why this is happening through the search engine???

It could be the product is not in the system yet. I have seen this when products first come out. If the Soy candle is the one I am thinking about this would be true as it just was sent out for the DR yesterday. I happen to know because I got it. lol

oh ok! Thanks for letting me know!

There was also a ton of "Max" products that I seen pull up on my "Product Search" for my favorites list-and I was wondering "Well what the hell......My wife is going to flip if she realizes that she is missing out on awesome stuff like this!" Not to mention, we have had problems where things go discontinued and we don't even see them until they are gone-which really sucks and I hope that that doesn't happen again

Often the products that don't show up are either discontinued or haven't made it to the site yet. But then there are screwy searches that make you sift through pages to find what you're looking for.

Items show up in the Product Search before they go up live for sale on site. It's a special perk of being a reviewer for EdenFantasys.

Thanks for answering this one everyone. Jmex and I have been totally stumped on this one for about a week now. It was driving us crazy thinking that we were missing out on stuff. lmao. Thanks for the heads up, Im going to be peeking there everyday now LOL!

EdenLink is where I always start, a lot of the time products will show up there first. Then you will know what might be coming up for reviews/assignments. An yes, check every day (Don't worry about the weekends), you never know when something becomes available.
