I agree the messaging system is very strange... I am fine with it not being instant/real-time messaging. It's the lack of coherence like all messages between individual users... they aren't treated like email w/ all messages related to a single subject or text/IM messaging where all messages between 2 users are all in the same thread.

It makes it hard to see the whole conversation between yourself and someone else in a singular location. They also aren't searchable either.
