I shave it all. I never did until a friend of mine introduced me to waxing. After a while that was just too painful so shaving was my last resort. I don't really need to, but it makes anal less painful and more cleanly in my opinion.

I like anal and I have a sacral dimple which means I have more hair there than someone without a dimple, but every time I've tried to shave I end up with ingrown hairs or folliculitis so I just let it go.

I don't shave anywhere near my anus and I wouldn't expect my partner to either. It's a difficult area to reach, and I'd much rather the both of us just make sure we wash that area extra well in the shower before any sort of anal play.
