We used no lube and only spit for the first time the other day. This was only because it was spontaneous and we didn't have any. I was totally thinking it wouldn't work, but it did and actually it was one of the better anal sex sessions we have had!

Isn't anal without lube painful and really dangerous? Once when we were having vaginal sex I was getting a bit rambunctious, he slipped out and BAMM, caught me right in the ass! I cried and bled. It was bad. He felt awful! It took me several days before I could even sit on the potty right. So in my mind anal without lube probably feels a lot like that did. OUCH! Anal doesn't have to hurt, it can feel good with a bunch of lube.

I first started doing anal with my ex and we rarely used lube, spit was totally adequate. He was on the smaller side, and had no problem slipping in.. one time we were covertly having sex under a blanket at a friend's house and I positioned myself so that he penetrated my ass rather than vagina and it took him a minute to even realize where he was, haha. But it was literally that easy. We dated for a year and never had any problems.
With my current boyfriend, however, I wouldn't even dream of not using lube for anal, he's quite a bit bigger than my ex. Even with tons of lube we have to go super slow and carefully.
