Many people have mentioned that they pluck hair rather than shave it. What I'm wondering is if (as I was told as I child) plucking hair makes it grow back in darker and rougher or no change in the hair that grows back. Also, I've heard that when plucking if you get the entire root folical with the hair it will not grow back, how true is that?

I used to have bigger eyebrows and have been plucking them for years now. At this point most of the hairs I've plucked don't grow back anymore so it's only really low key maintenance plucking a few stragglers. Also, I've never noticed any hairs I pluck that grow in darker or coarser.
