Since my husbands' dick has a slight curve, it is easier for me if I am not facing his face. Either I lie beside him in the opposite direction of him or I sometimes even stand beside the bed, which sits rather high, and slant my body slightly so I am facing his feet a bit more than just straight across his pelvis. For a really deep throat, it's not as easy if I position myself between his legs and face him. Sometimes I wind up doing it that way or various other ways but I can say that the slight difference in depth doesn't seem to bother him a bit.

Laying next to him facing the opposite way is nice, but always the most distracting. He can't help but go down on me sometimes.

Sometimes it's easy to just be on my knees on the bed. Other times it's just.. however I am, splayed out on the bed, I just get up on my elbows and go for it.

You're so right, it is distracting, but then I'm not opposed to a little distraction on occasion.

This applies for me as well. I don't get sleepy, but it does strain the neck and it's sometimes more difficult to get a true deep throat happening.

Lately I've been doing it where I lay on my back with my head over the edge of the bed and he's standing up. I don't seem to choke so much that way due to the angle.

I also like kneeling.

I'm with you on both of these positions. On my back, with my head over the edge of the bed is also awesome for deep throat. I tried this initially with a dil (for practice).

I think the easiest for me, thus far, is on my knees between his legs while he's laying flat on his back.

I've tried the position Sammi mentioned but it's uncomfy for me. I get all claustrophobic.

I prefer my partner to lie on his back while I straddle his legs and go down on him. He's got a downward curve so it helps to be situated below his waist for maximum depth. Whenever we 69 I end up mostly focusing on his head because of the curve.

It also works if he's sitting and I'm kneeling, although I don't like that as much because I feel kind of subservient.

I've found a fun one is to treat it like he's sexing my mouth...I lay down with my head very propped forward with pillows and he's on his knees straddling my face and thrusts into my mouth. I like that this way, he can set exactly the pace he likes.

This is a little off-rail as to positions but it is applicable to making a blowjob better...I do a saline flush on my nose prior to giving a blowjob when possible so that my nose is clear to facilitate easy breathing! I find it easiest to go deep if I'm laying back propped up on something (pillows or the arm of the couch even)and he's kneeling or crouching over top of me.

I don't like it when I'm kneeling in front of him or we're in a 69 position, I just find it to awkward to go deep those ways.

I find that it's easiest if I'm kneeling before him; however, we seem to do it with him straddling me from above more often. Depends on who wants to be in control. It's most difficult when he's lying back and I'm draped between his thighs. I'd really like to try draping my head over the edge of the bed next. Don't think he'll have a problem obliging me!
