I'm not ashamed of my number because it is small. If there were a big difference in the numbers compared to my bf I might fib a little to make it more even but my number is 3 and I'm ok with that.

Same here- I've slept around, used protection... been with probably somewhere around 80 men and a handful of women, but I'm not ashamed. I have no STDs or anything and I didn't get pregnant having random sex or anything, so why should I feel bad?

If my partner outright asks I wouldn't lie but I try to avoid the question.

I really don't like to lie at all to my partners, so I tell the truth. Also, I personally feel like it is kind of their business. At least the STI status of my previous partners.

We discussed it even before we were officially dating. I found it important for him to know.

I tell my # what's the point in not telling the truth and I would be afraid I would forget my fake number don't like my number don't talk to me

Yes, and I don't feel like it's a big deal. If someone is going to be judgmental about any number, big or small, I probably wouldn't want to be in bed with them anyway.

He has never asked, and he never will, but IF he did, I'd probably fib, I have had MANY.

the frist night my partner and i spent together (and i mean this in the most non-sexual way), we reviled to one an other the amount of people we had currently had sex with. It is something i am sometimes hesitant to relive to people because of the socials stigmas attached to having "too high" a number, though i am not ashamed at all, but i dont care to be made to feel like a "slut" about what i choose to do with my body and who i choose to share it with. My partner was very accepting and nice about the whole thing, even though i easily trumped his number. It doesnt bother them at all, as it wouldnt bother me if they had slept with 1-100 people.

My boyfriend and I mutually said we didn't care as long as we both don't have std's, and we both get tested regularly and don't. However, one time I drank a little too much wine and told him, and he told me, so now we both know, haha. I don't understand why it's a big secret. Even I am guilty of making it seem like a big thing to keep quiet, but I don't understand why I did.

I would never lie, but tend to say, "Do you really want to know?"

Often the answer is, "You're right... not really."

Then we talk about something way more awesome and way less likely to trigger weird jealousy issues!

If someone seriously needs to know, I have no issue sharing anything I can remember. Nobody's really ever demanded that of me.
