Ever heard of the A-spot?

Contributor: gone77 gone77
I've come across this in a couple things I've read and while initially skeptical, I think it exists and I think I've actually been stimulating it more often than my G-spot.

Here's the Wikipedia article on the Anterior fornix erogenous zone: link

Is it just me or does it sound like the g-spot is being confused for an a-spot since they're so close in location and produce similar effects. I've heard some women say their g-spot is further back than what seems to be the typical position for it. Could it be they're actually stimulating their a-spot? Could you have one with the other? And does it really matter if you have either or both?

Personally, I think I have both. I think my usual gushing is caused by stimulation of my a-spot and the squirting was caused by, naturally, my g-spot. What do you all think?

I know I have stimulated my a-spot. It is very similiar to what it feels like to stimulate my g-spot and I think with some toys I've actually stimulated both at the same time, although I can't be sure. But this past week actually my husband was using the Evolved Lust vibe on me, and the way that he was thrusting it made me feel like gspot stimulation higher and lower at the same time. When I orgasmed from it I could feel the sensation in two places at once, I could like distinctly feel a surge in two places. It was the first time I had ever remembered feeling something like that, so it was pretty cool. I am wondering if the angle he was thrusting in in addition to the ridges allowed it to hit both spots.

I've talked about the A-spot in many different posts. I am convinced that it's a separate spot - not just an extension of the g-spot as some have suggested. I understand it was actually first described by a Malaysian doctor who discovered that stimulating the anterior-fornix resulted resulted in copious lubrication.

The anterior fornix is the junction of the top of the vagina and the cervix - and my wife loves it when we go there. For us the most effective way is to have her in the Cowgirl position so she can get my erection positioned just right - then she grinds her hips using me almost like a dildo.

The O2 Revolution and Tiger dildos reach the A-Spot best - but the PureWand is the undisputed champ of her gushing. For my wife - gushing (ejaculation) requires A-spot stimulation.

I think there was an old forum thread about this. That is how I heard of it.

I've seen it talked about a few times and looked it up, but I think they all may be interconnected. I can feel my clit being stimulated while I'm working on my g-spot, but I require separate clit stimulation to orgasm that way. My husband says he can feel my g-spot fill up when he stimulates it, but he has to push a different area (it sounds like he is describing the a-spot) to actually make me squirt.

I don't think it matters if you have them. I mean, anatomically you probably have them all, but you may not have a large enough one to be able to feel the stimulation OR you may just not enjoy it. It's neat to learn new things about female bodies though.

I think yes it does exist. But I gave up figuring what spot is what. I've found so many internal areas that are pleasurable to the point of orgasms, even squirting ones. So whatever or where ever these "spots" are, I don't care if science has figured them out yet and given them a name, I know my body responds to them and that makes me perfectly happy.
