We have been married a LONG time. I guess we are really comfortable with each other, so even in the middle of a HOT session, one of us might say "remind me later to pick up another gallon of green paint", or "oh, I forgot to make an appointment with the vet". Does not seem to ruin the mood, although it does cause a case of the giggles sometimes. Do any of you out there just blurt out a thought if it comes to mind...or do you wait till "later" to not "ruin the mood"?
Idea pops into mind in the middle of sex...do you say anything?

I always wait until later. Usually, when we're making love, that's all I'm thinking about. My mind only wanders when I'm bored, which doesn't happen during sex. Not often, anyway.

I usually wait. Sometimes it pops out without thinking about the fact that I'm saying something. Sometimes it causes giggles, sometimes it ruins the moment. It just depends.

My brain usually can't think about something else in the moment. But right before or right after, when my brain is working again, yeah, I'll blurt out random stuff we need to remember. It doesn't ruin anything for us.

Sometimes I will say random things in the middle of sex or just when we go to bed. I know if I wait until later, I will forget to tell him.

With MS, comes cognitive dysfunction. Sex is the one time that my brain will actually allow my thoughts to slow down and relax a bit (I tend to be in the moment then). So I suppose, sex is therapy for me!

ADD really gets in the way sometimes. With some thoughts, the more I try to ignore the thought the more it kind of sticks so sometimes I just say it to get it out of the way quick, depending on what it is.

We try to wait but we usually end up just saying whatever is on our minds. The only time I mind is when she says something about my mom or sister.

Heheh - I would want to just spurt it out, but probably wouldn't. But I'd forget what it was by the end of the sex...lol.
