I've only used a flavored condom once during oral. I wasn't impressed. For me, it's a fun thing and not a safety issue. My idea of safe sex is monogamy after full testing and long-term dating.

I agree, I'm in a long-term relationship and we both know there's no risk since we're monogamous and test healthy. Why bother with a condom?

Once...decades ago, when I was dating, a guy used condoms for EVERYTHING. Germaphobe, I guess. STD's were not even on the radar much back then.

It tasted HORRIBLE. Another guy used HAND LOTION for lube and had me suck him off after he had this lotion on his penis. Also TERRIBLE taste.

I decide there and then, I would NEVER, EVER suck on anything or anyone where I did not decide it would be fun or taste good. Period.

We all wise up after a while!!!

Flavored condoms came DECADES after my one experience with this, but we DID get a pack as FREEBIES with some sex toy order, a couple years back. We have never used condoms in our long dating and then marriage history...since our second or third date, when I was already on the pill. Well, we decide to "try these" freebies just for fun. They STILL tasted chemical terrible. YUK.

Well said. Well said indeed. I guess, however, that applies for ANY condom use. No matter what one says' it is a barrier between you and your lover,but for some people and situations, it is the ONLY safe option, so that trumps a lot of things...maybe every thing.

My Man and I are fluid bound, so there is no need for condoms, either for oral or any other type of sex. Plus, I'm allergic to latex, so finding non-latex condoms in his size is difficult. We rarely use them. I have a few polyisproine condoms around for toy use, but since I now only use toys made from safe materials, the condoms just sit in a drawer.

All completely expected answers! I completely agree. Even lube is a gross in my mouth. But absolutely bearable. Condoms are just horrible, and I wouldn't ever bother with them for oral, when I know I'm safe without it.

It's not the best option obviously but the thought of a STD in throat doesn't sound too good either. I'd say with a new partner it's a must, if we're not monogamous and tested. It surprises me how many completely ignore the STD risks when it comes oral.
