Toys seem to be easier for beginners, since it's a little tough to find the right position during intercourse. When you find it with a toy, the feeling is unmistakable. Once you get used to the 'found it!' feeling, hitting the right spots during intercourse is easier.
That said, the g-spot orgasm is the only O where my partner actually passed out. Good times!

I enjoy having my g-spot stimulated - sometimes. Hard toys or fingers are usually far too intense. I prefer soft toys or positions that let my partner stimulate it gently.

Honestly, I've only recently started trying to stimulate my g-spot. I'm not entirely successful all the time since I haven't really been able to completely pinpoint its location. I do prefer toys over a hand though.
