Clit stimulation and orgasms

Contributor: Dragon Dragon
Question for you all..

I'm trying to figure something out and need some help from sex aware people. You would think/assume that all orgasms are pleasant and a good thing. I've had some that are more like an electric shock and actually somewhat painful. They are also very brief compared to the ones that I really love. I think it's because of hard/fast clit stimulation when I'm not actually ready for it that quickly.

Similar experiences? Thoughts?

I've had painful orgasms before- I have endo- I'd get this painful tension whenever I'd orgasm for like a month straight, my muscles felt like they were locking up. The only thing that made it any better was actually trying to get myself to relax (and yes a few pain pills too).. exercises with my kegelcisor actually helped me to relax too. Just that constant, on/off movement.

But I've had orgasms from hard/fast clitoral orgasms that involved a LOT of friction like it was too dry that were painful- such as hardly any lubrication or underwear involved.

I'm not female, so I can't give the same clitoral perspective, but I will say that sometimes when I just want the release that comes from orgasm I will work at it so furiously that I come very quickly and it is not nearly as satisfying as when I spend some time with it.
My partner has reported something similar to me when she masturbates too quickly it doesn't really give her all the sensations she is looking for and it can become irritating instead of enjoyable. I don't know if I am talking about the same thing as you or not, but there is definitely something better about taking our time with it.

Not satisfying isn't the same thing as actually painful. This isn't muscle tension either. Another thought that I've had a different times is "forced orgasm." Until I understand better, it's hard to tactfully communicate.

I think I know what you mean. Pretty much what you said. A shorter orgasm that feels kind of painful. Kind of hard to explain. For me, sometimes it's just like I start to orgasm, it feels good for half a second, and then my clit feels so sensitive it hurts. It's like it just happens in the middle of the orgasm, and I can't even be touched any more at that point because it just hurts. Not satisfying at all.

I occasionally get coital headaches, but I find that an aspirin does just fine.

I think I may be having a similiar issue. When my clit becomes overly stimulated, it becomes somewhat painful to be touched. I don't want to stop, but I have to because it really feels like an electrical current - and not a pleasant one - going through my clit.

I think I'll go back and read what others have offered ont the subject.

If that's what DBD was originally trying to explain, then I have the same problem. Is there a "cure"? Cause I really don't like it and I think it may be a relatively new problem for me.

I have the same problem if I come too soon. Like if I rush it. Which there's been time I just want to get off and go to bed, and it was eclectic like waves that felt good at first but then I got super sensitive to the point of pain. So I started slowing down more and taking my time. Which of course doesn't always work.

My clit can sometimes be very sensitive, to the point of being painful. When this happens, I just slow down or back off. I know I can get very aggressive with my vibes. Rushing breaks my mood.

My favorite orgasm is the one that itches and builds up until it releases like a water dam breaking and releasing. I get that one with a particular vibrator sometimes.

Yea, I can relate with this.

I too experience this when I'm pushing myself too hard and fast with stimulation (i.e. using the vibrator on high when I'm not properly worked up to that point yet). It's a sort of overload of stimulation.... Different yet related to when my clit is touched too roughly by someone who doesn't know the feel for my clit yet. But this overload happens when I touch my own clit too roughly, while telling myself to just hang on and bear it.

I don't like this! Thanks for bringing it up. Maybe thinking about it in this way will help me to not do it!
