Oh man, just caught this, I was referring to the EFprops submissions. I think we're finalizing everything for the member of the month thing next meeting
Oh, sorry - I didn't realize who had suggested it, I knew you were discussing EF props - I was still going back and forth with a few people on the other topic and got yours confused

I'm thinking maybe the props themselves may be reward enough for people even without a contest. People also might feel better not having their work critiqued for creativity.

Oh, I agree...I'm just not sure we should hold up the first month for it - it's definitely useful information for tweaking future months...I think anything this committee puts forward will require research and tweaking and working out glitches here and there.

True. Well hopefully it takes off and additional incentives won't be needed

I know the idea of a contest had been tossed out earlier if the idea needed help getting rolling.

Otherwise I'm all for just starting a bi-weekly/monthly thread with all the submissions for that time period.

Maybe start with just the props, see what the response is like, and then decide if it should be transitioned into something more?

What is with me tonight - I'm being very conservative about everything - so not my style

Ok, I think there was a bit of a mixup there but hopefully we are all on the same page.

So, think about the Contributor of the Month for next time and we will finalize it! Private nominations from the CEC, which are then turned into a public ... more
I definitely like this idea and will think on it for the next one.

I honestly have a problem with these meetings because it seems like they move so quickly that it makes me dizzy.

The worst is when it goes to a new page! Then I have to refresh and notice that there is a new page and go to it!
