Not sure if that would work?
I figure it could be worked out that there was a time frame for when new clues would come out so that it didn't have to be constant..even once a day. And then the first person to guess it correctly wins and it could just keep going until someone got it or the clues were up. Something like that.

I like that idea too. Maybe it could be handled similarly to the weekly round ups, but a person would need, say 3? nominations to be voted for.

Well some games just take longer to get picked up than others, I also forgot to include the word "game" in the title, so that's probably another reason, lol
Link me, I'll bump it.

Ok. Any suggestions on how to put this together? Who will decide, who is eligible, what are the judgment criteria?

That could be fun, to make it harder we could include forum post.

A scavenger hunt could be really awesome, but from my perspective, it would take a lot of planning (which is fine). Fun will get some people involved, but if we had a good prize, and some good promotion it could possibly interest a lot of people to come and hang out. This would be great!

Members of this committee can toss out names of people, eligibility and judgment are a bit trickier tho.

Maybe to nominate someone people could write a little write up about why they feel that member should be the member of the month. And then voting could be based on those reasons?

I have no idea about the rest of the stuff though..

Oh wanted to add...I didn't mean a huge write up. Just a few sentences about why they feel that person should be chosen. We do something like this in my company and it's worked really well.

I think that the community member of the month idea would be great, one member is nominated by a committee (we will have to discuss this)

Once a group is nominated then a group or community will vote.

The winner will win, that member will go into a Community member of the year poll, and will not be eligible for a year to win again member of the month. Or at least 6 months.

I just want to see this award being passed around instead of the same two or three people winning it every month.

Either that or handle it like the weekly round up - give 2-3 wks for nominations and then 1-2 weeks for voting, but instead of 1 nom, maybe people could need 3 to be included in the group to be anonymously voted on? In addition, the nomination thread could contain a list of features of the person - active in the community, helpful, good reviewer, etc. - to think about while nominating.

Sounds good to me. Like a short paragraph kind of thing. But would we want this submitted anonymously or publicly?

Ok general question to everyone:

Who is willing to do a little homework over the course of two weeks and write down there ideas, think about it, expand upon, maybe work out some of this bugs, and come back in two weeks with a solid pitch?

Realistically, any one idea that we choose to work on, I will be doing this process for in order to make it happen. But if a there were a few us, it would open the doors to what all we could accomplish. I hope this makes sense (Victoria is distracting me a lot while I type

Makes perfect sense to me. I'll give it my best shot to try and work out kinks on a few of these ideas and come back in 2 weeks with what I have.

As for community choice / community awards... I can handle the information, and structure the system of course, but it would be up to you to decide who & how each week / month.

Since a few of you are already saying you to developing your ideas, you can always message each other or me as you go for ideas or questions. A great example of this is our Halloween contest. So how do you take a bunch of fun ideas, and funnel them into a system that will function for the intended purpose.

I was thinking, Is there anyway Eden can get a Chat-like feed. Similar to what you got for the support? This would be great in a community event such as this, naked reader and Porn club. It would help, and stop us from missing out on stuff because of stopping and having to refresh.

I think a chat would be awesome!

Sure, maybe it could be a toy that someone recommended. Or it could be a certain position for getting the best ???
