If so, what do you put in them? (Or do you get "premade" baskets?)
Do you make Easter Baskets for your "loved ones"?

Our child is the only one who gets the basket. Still young enough to believe that a giant bunny leaves the goodies in there for him too. We don't do the premade ones. His basket was actually mine when I was a little kid. We usually fill it with some candy, smaller toys like mini lego sets, action figures and then outside spring/summer toys for him.

While my partner and I don't do baskets for each other, we do give each other somethings..books...dv d's...maybe a gift card.

I usually don't make one for my daughter because she usually gets at least 3 baskets from other family members, and more stuff would be excessive. They are filled with candy, little toys, stickers, bubbles, books, coloring stuff, stamps etc.

In our house the "kids" (who are now in there 20's lol) each get one and the parents share one. We sometimes have one for the dogs but usually just treats.

I always make a basket for my daughter and now my granddaughter. I am having a hard time with it this year, I always made a special 'personal' one for my husband. Since he passed away a week and a half ago....I just don't want to do them this year.
I always personalize them with small items and favorite treats per individual. They are always greatly looked forward to--just to see what interesting items I found to put in them, lol...

@BlackOrchid, that makes sense and it's great your daughter is so well loved by everyone! (Hey, I didn't know you had a child!)
@js250, I think maybe, given the circumstances, you should only think about giving your granddaughter a basket and let yourself off the hook for anything too involved. Is she young enough that she would not notice a difference between just a simple basket with candy and what you usually do? Maybe your daughter can take over the "duty" for you this time? Then again, you might find pleasure in doing it a little later.

Our felines get treats, but no baskets for them. Already bad enough that they tear out the paper grass from our sons basket and scatter it across the living room floor. lol At Christmas though they do get a stocking that has treats, a can of wet food each cat and some toys. In our house the animals are considered the fur children

you're a wonderful mom, grandma, & wife for putting so much effort into personalizing the gifts. so many people just gift out of obligation, not sincerity.

I like to make a basket for my boyfriend, and my mom still makes us adult kids baskets. It's nice.
