Do you try and eat healthy food on Halloween to "buffer" the candy binge?

We try and eat good, conservative meals on days like Halloween, to minimize the candy binge damage to our diet. How about you?

A couple of days of candy won't ruin an otherwise healthy diet. So no, I don't try to make up for all the candy on one day. I try to make up for it by eating healthy in general, and then I go ahead and eat candy with zero guilt!

we always try to eat healthy. I also limit the amount of candy the kids can eat per day. And some of the candy just disappears, not sure where it goes

Nah. I eat pretty healthy the rest of the year except for on holidays. I think I can handle a few candy bars on Halloween.
