4th of July with No Fireworks

With the drought in the midwest right now, I'm afraid they will call off the fireworks for our county, has this happened to any of you yet? I'm in southern Indiana.

I'm in Colorado, our state is currently fighting some of the most devistating wildfires in state history, there are several differnt fires going in the front range amd mountain areas and HUNDREDS of homes have been lost. There is a statewide ban on all personal fireworks amd serval city's and counties have banned professional firework shows. It is kind sucky that we won't have the traditional 4th firework shows but I'd rather that than more families lose their homes to wildfires

They've started cancelling fireworks shows where I live. We haven't had rain in a while and there have been several brush fires recently.

That sucks. Can't call it the 4th of July without fireworks. It's like Christmas without presents!

It's heartbreaking to see so many homes destroyed, and a statewide ban is the appropriate thing to do. If you want to see firework shows, take a little vacation to Oregon!

Just heard today they banned private fireworks here for at least the next week. So far they haven't cancelled the official fireworks, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did! It's soooo dry!
