I am thankful for my family – especially my children and my husband, and for our relatively good health. I am thankful for feeling loved every day – that is something no one should take for granted. I am thankful that I can sleep at night most of the time, and feel good about what we do and who we are. I am thankful for those who have touched my life and thankful for the opportunity to be able to help others every single day – that I have honor of doing work that is meaningful to me and hopefully some of the people in this world. I am thankful to the makers of positive change, the ditch diggers, the big thinkers, and everyone who cares enough to do more. I am thankful for our fairly comfortable home, for our neighborhood and city most of the time when all of the good outweighs the bad, for the Farmer’s Market at our local park each week, for espresso made fresh by a friend at the locally owned coffee store half a block away, for the laughter of children on our street year round, for leaves crunching under our feet, for the twittery mew of the our loyal kitty Sabu and the foghorn crow of her more skittish sister cat, both of whom greet us every time they see us. I am thankful for old traditions that make me feel nostalgic in a good way, and new traditions that bring my little family closer together. I am thankful for intimacy and true friendship, for compassion and pragmatism. For good transformative music and books. For things that make me feel. For color and light and small moments. I am thankful for ability. I am thankful that the future seems infinitely open, that we live in a world where there is so much hope and possibility – if you just push yourself to see it and go for it.
I am thankful.

Family, wife, kids and pets.
A place to call home.
The ability to live off the land.

I am also thankful to the few people that give me some work to do so that I can give my kids something for Christmas. After losing so much this year, that is the one thing that I am always very great-full for.

Let me say that I am thankful that Eden provides a place where we can all enjoy the joys of sex and toys and help those that do not have as much as us. Warms my heart.

I am thankful for my family, even if we don't always get along. My amazing fiance who will become my amazing husband in just over a month. My amazing friends who always have my back. My jobs, and my limited free time. I am thankful for Eden for giving me a wonderful place I can always come to and makes me genuinely proud to be a part of this community.

I am thankful for my family for taking me back when I left my husband, my baby Voldemort for being the sweetest dog despite himself, my friends from school for being who they are now instead of staying as they were, my friends online whom put up with my ranting and depressions and fears by offering virtual hugs and love and the occasional face-slap, my college for breaking the red tape enough for me to get back into the fold for next semester, for the help of VR in getting me back to college and into therapy and guiding me towards life goals, for my healthier body, for the people here in which friendliness and caring are truly part of their personalities, and for everyone who has taken part in teaching me what I need to know to Live.

Happy Thanksgiving, Edenites.

I love reading everyone's thankful replies

This year I am thankful for what I have learned in 2010 and the strength and personal growth I have gained as a result. I am thankful that my marriage has remained strong, despite being separated against our wills for 18 months now (he's Canadian, I'm American). I am thankful for my friends, my improving health, and I am VERY thankful that I have reached the end of Canadian immigration and have been approved for permanent residency.

Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Holidays to all of you Edenites!!

I'm thankful for my amazing husband, my kids and my grandkids, that they are in my life and all healthy and happy. I am very thankful that this year, my youngest son got a fantastic job that he loves after 3 years of un/under employment. I am very thankful for my friends. I am thankful for my health, which was sort of chancy earlier this year. I am thankful that my husband and I get to live the exact life that we want. I am thankful that we finally found a nice place to move to at the end of the year.

For coffee, for chocolate, for vibrators and for life.

I forgot the most important thing I am thankful for.

That my mother & my husband no longer hate each other and they don't no longer talk bad about each other. They are the best of friends and get along great. Which takes a load off of me not being stuck in the middle no more.

I am also thankful my husband doesn't despise my sister no more. That they get along great now also.
