Any chance of giving more information on studio Ghibli ? Then I won't have to look it up. I'm the lazy type. Needless to say I'm not a fan.

Yet.

Have you heard of a very old Japanese manga series called Dr. Slump? It was my favorite cartoon back in the 80s! I'm waiting for the North America release of their first five films with English subtitles on July 29, 2014.

ctrl-T to make a new tab then ctrl-L to go to the address bar. Type in "Studio Ghibli" to search with your default search engine. If you have Wikipedia set up as a search engine, that's even better.

I use to fall asleep to Kiki's Delivery Service as a kid. It might be time for a rewatch!

I grew up with the original Totoro. My kids prefer Ponyo though.

Yes yes yes! Huge fan.
To anybody that loves Howl's Moving Castle, I recommend checking out the book by the same name. The movie was based on it and it's a fantastic read. The author, Diana Wynne Jones is one of my very favorites.

Nice to know there is some original source material

I'm not sure I can choose a single favorite Ghibli anime, they are each unique and wonderful in their own way. But definitely a fan.

Thought movie and book are not exactly the same.

I love it!!! My favorite is a tie between Castle in the Sky and Spirited Away, second/third is Howl's Moving Castle, and third/fourth would be Kiki's Delivery Service. I actually started watching them when I was younger because I saw Kiki's Delivery Service at the store and my nickname is Kiki so I wanted to watch it. My aunt bought it for me and I've been in love with Studio Ghibli ever since!
