Arcades

Any one still go to arcades.

I just went to see a movie with my kid (Despicable me). This is the only place in town that has them. The thing is I really did not like playing them. Not the money but the games were pretty much all the same as when I last went to a Arcade (about 15 years). OK I dont get out much.

I just played the pinball game. I will always play Pinball.

So do you still go or play them you find them?

I still go once a twice a summer because I live a couple of hours away from some really great boardwalks and they're all lined with arcades. Most of them are filled with those claw grabby things, but there's one that has a whole back room (it's in Seaside heights - where they film The Jersey Shore LOL) called "Flashback" that has all the original 80's video games - paperboy, donkey kong, etc. Oh, and I kick ass at ski-ball!

Wow I am kinda jealous. I have heard of Boardwalks but have never had the Chance.

The flashback sounds like a lot of fun.

We go occasionally when we get out to the mall. The kids love them, and they have some of the old ones I really used to like.

The place we just moved to is about a 15 minute walk from the arcade, so we go a lot. We both love video games though.

I miss playing old school Tron. There used to be an arcade in a town not too far from where I lived as a kid. They had the best pizza (still do), but their games have since went down the tubes.

I'd still like to play some Street Fighter II or Ghouls and Ghosts in an arcade.

I still would like to have Galaga (sp?) in my house or even Pac-man. I am a sucker for old school video games.

Before my fiance's older brother moved out of their parent's house, he had a whole ton of arcade games there. I'd come over after school and play Galaga and a few other games with friends all the time. It rocked!

My guys and kids love them. I like skeeball and that's pretty much it.

I haven't been to one in years... like 15? and I am 21...

I have plans though, for when I become a billionaire (Oh my ships coming in any day now ) of building a luxurious room full of old and new Arcade games.

I'm a sucker for pinball. Pretty much anything else can be played via MAME.

Despicable Me was so awesome. We loved that movie.

The theater is the only real arcade place around here also. There is a place called fun junction that has some arcade games but we go there mostly for the laser tag *pew pew*

I used to go to the arcade all the time when I was young. I loved it there. It was our regular hang out.

I haven't been to an arcade in a while. Arcades are okay. Usually the arcade game I want to play is Pac Man.

There aren't any arcades in my area. The closest is a built in one at the bowling alley, about ten miles away. But when I do go bowling I like to have a quick go.

I agree. The closest one is at the movies for me. But about 90 minutes away there is a place to go with 3 floors of games. I love going there. I might need to make a trip soon!!!
