Can you resist to read the subtitles when they come in the same language of the movie without a chance to be taken out? :D

I read them because sometimes there weird translations if the movie was dubbed and other times i just helps to know what there saying.

There is an anime my husband watched, where the English subtitles were (as far as we know) the translation of the Japanese story, but the English dubbed voices were an entirely different (and hilarious) story someone else wrote to the existing animation. It was very odd to have the two different stories running at the same time, and trying to keep track of what was going on.

Edit - Found it! It was Ghost Stories.

(And yes, I do read them, can't help it)
