Did you watch Mister Roger's Neighborhood when you were a kid?

I found this music video on youtube and I think it's great! If you haven't seen it yet you should! Go to youtube and search for "mister roger's remix, garden of your mind." It makes me feel so happy! It's a little strange but it's so cool. He was such a great man!

When my boyfriend was a kid his dad wasn't around very much. He told me he used to watch Mister Roger's all the time and sort of saw him as a father figure. When he watched this video it made him tear up. The part that tears me up is the part where he says, "did you ever think of the many things you've learned to do?" I have to admit sometimes I get depressed because I don't feel like I'm smart enough or good enough in the world. But when I really stop and think about it I've learned so many important things in my life.

I was never into those types of shows as a kid. My parents could sometimes get me to sit down for a few minutes of Sesame Street, but then I'd want to change the channel to something like "Emergency Vets" or a scary movie LOL.

Almost every day when I was a kid! I'd watch it with my grandma.

I grew up in Pittsburgh, where the show was filmed. I remember going at least 2 or 3 times for tours of the Mr. Rogers set & getting to play with the puppets and such.

I watched all the PBS kids shows, but I preferred Sesame Street and the Electric Company to Mr. Roger's. The puppets gave me nightmares

I really liked Mr. Rogers. I watched a lot of PBS kids shows at that time. We never had cable when I was growing up, and Nickelodeon and Disney channels didn't exist yet. (At least not for me!)

Oh yes! I loved watching Mr. Roger's! My favorite parts where when he'd go see the puppets, when the mailman came over, and when he'd show how some things were made. Love that show

I only watched it a little bit. It was too slow-paced and gentle for me generally (I preferred Sesame Street.), but I think it was a lovely show and Mr. Rogers was awesome.

I loved it! It was one of my favorites growing up. I just saw it on Hulu and played a few episodes for my best friends daughter. She really liked it.
