Heroes (TV series)

Contributor: Ms. N Ms. N
I never watched the series Heroes while it was on television, but thanks to Netflix, I have just finished the series. I wish that there was more of it - or maybe movies!

My favorite characters are Hiro and Claire. My least favorite is Sylar. The dude seriously creeps me out. I get chills when I watch any scene he is in, or even thinking of him as I type this. Spooky!

My favorite episodes were when Ando and Hiro, and Matt and Daphne all go to Sam's Comics and talk to Sam (played by Seth Green). So much fun!

Anybody else like the show?

I have never seen an episode, don't have tv. I have heard a lot of people liked the show though.

I liked the first season but it went downhill fast and I stopped watching.

I love this show! I watched it all on Netflix, maybe two years ago. I totally missed it on TV as well. Yeah, it's a total shame it ended. I know it has a pretty big following, they should do a movie!

I did like the series a lot, but I thought it got kinda of crowded as the seasons went on. Too many characters that were here one minute and gone the next. Even with that flaw, though, I would have liked to see the series continue.

After the first season, storylines would start then get abandoned.

Netflix is awesome for seeing shows you missed the first time, isn't it?

I honestly hated it when it was on TV. Just like DS9 and I'm a Trekie!!!

It wasn't until I had students beg me to share it with them that I downloaded it (gosh I love Vuze!!!) and watched it from start to finish without watching anything else inbetween did I actually realise just how good it was.

My favourite episode ever was when Syler and Peter were locked in Syler's head and I cannot remember his name, the man who played in Alias? Eric Weiss? Anyways, he bricked them in and they thought something like seven years had passed but only a few hours had. That was such a brilliant episode there.

I used to be obsessed with the show! (By obsessed I mean that I flew to New York to meet fellow internet nerds that I had never met before to go to the "World Tour". I still have my cast signed copy of Season 1, with a bunch of other stuff I picked up there.)

The show had so much potential, it really could've become another Star Trek/Doctor Who in terms of longevity. In my opinion it was handed it's death sentence with the Writers Strike.

It received the TV Land "Future Classic" award. So much for that.

The first season was amazing. The problem is that the original concept had a finite storyline and the writers didn't know how to continue when it was over. What they came up with was garbage.

I watched a episode or two during the first season, but did not care for it very much.
