Alright. It is confession time. Are you hooked on any daytime soaps? How long have you been hooked?

I am a die hard Young and the Restless watcher. I have been watching it since I was about 8 years old. My mom would watch it while cooking supper and I would sit with her and get sucked in.

I am still hooked. Watch it daily. I even PVR it daily in case, for whatever reason, I am not home at 4:30 to watch it.

I haven't watched a soap regularly in a long long time. My favorites were The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful. I stopped watching Y&R when Nick married (S)Phyllis.

LOL! I used to watch that.. But not regularly because I knew that one day on that show lasted about 3 weeks. You could watch it one day and come back 2 weeks later and they are still talking about the same thing, in the same clothes.

It was Passions for me also but I totally got off it after two years. I'm not much for soaps but I love series like CSI or Ghost Whisperer.

No damn it! Just no. Nick was supposed to stay with Sharon and be the fairy tale and Phylis was supposed to die in a terrible cliff diving accident. She grated my nerves like no other character had before. And well the Nikki/Victor saga, I just couldn't take it any more. LOLOL

Annd I started working regular 9-5 hours so I missed a good chunk of the archs.

Awww I's gonna cry now. Jack and Phylis were PERFECT for each other and they should have let it ride. I still stop on it every once in awhile now that I'm not working anymore just to drool over Victor.

I have been watching One Life to Live and General Hospital for years. Since my job interferes with me watching live, I DVR them.

If I had to choose one, I'd choose OLTL. I've been watching it longer than GH.

I used to watch As the World Turns, but I stopped watching after they killed Rose and Rosanna and Craig got divorced. I used to like Guiding Light and I cried during the last episode

I cried too during the last ep of GL. I had been watching that soap since I was a baby, thanks to my mom. It isn't fair that some of those other soaps are still on and GL is gone. At least it had a happy ending, and everyone pretty much ended up with who they belonged with.

I also spent a summer watching Passions when it first started. It was so much fun to laugh and make fun of how bad it all was. (sorry if that upsets anyone)
