Soaps on elastomer?

Contributor: Alan & Michele Alan & Michele
I'm just curious what kind of soap you all use on elastomer toys? Most of the manufacturers suggest "mild" soap, but *how* mild? We use Dawn (dish soap) for silicone toys because it cuts oils and such, and sometimes Irish Spring in a pinch, but I don't know how mild one could consider those or if they would be ok on something semi-porous like some elastomers are.

Hi yall
I was wondering if it's harmless to use a diluted soapy solution when anal douching..? I know this wouldn't be a good idea in the vagina but.

Have you tried Organic Soap?
Which of these organic soaps have you tried or like best?

Dove Soap
Have you ever tried Dove soap in the shower? It is a particularly soft soap with 1/4 moisturiser, so they say. Anyway, the foam it produces is really.

You can always use something all natural, like Dr. Bronners. I freaking love it, it's a castile soap (no animal products, if that's a sensitive topic, I know it is for some)that leaves zero residue, so no film to irritate delicate bits (the almond is my favorite scent.) They have both liquid (which I use) and bar styles. It can be purchased at most grocery stores in the organic section, heath food stores or the company website.

Mild soaps are basically soaps that don't contain harsh or commonly irritating ingredients. So, no dish detergents for elastomer toys. Dove and Ivory are two easy-to-find mild bar soaps, and both can be found in fragrance free if that's an issue. I've been using Dove's Sensitive Skin Unscented (since it's what we buy anyway) on my elastomer toys, and never had an issue.

I use either Dr. Bronners (peppermint) or the Climax Bursts toy cleaner on all my toys with no issue.
