have any of you seen this movie?

if not, you really should.

it's a documentary that's (kinda) balanced showing how the porn industry shapes men's idea of women.


whether you're pro porn, see it as completely harmless, or not, i definitely recommend looking into it. for me it was shocking and quite interesting to take a step back and really objectively look at porn.


many of the violent tendencies originating in porn i've seen in my own partner. and many other partners. and i KNOW his idea of me has been shaped by porn. he'll even admit it. its the idea of me which has nearly torn us apart.
for being too violent during sex, not romantic, making me feel like an object of rape honestly (you know, pound pound pound), and refusing to go down on me because i don't shave my pubic region.

this may sound extreme but honestly, these are the ideas he's gotten of what sex should be. from porn.
