I prefer the subtle asian style psychological horror as opposed to the slash em' up gore and mayhem that represents horror as a genre. However, I'm not super into scary movies in general.

I am so easily terrified!
I usually only watch scary movies with other people, but even then, movies that aren't intended to be scary can scare me when I'm alone, and I get scared easily when I'm alone.

I just find them boring and lacking of any entertainment value, but that's just my opinion.

I like horror movies with interesting monster designs, plots, or good cinematography. I'm more about appreciating the visuals instead of wanting a "cheap" scare.
My favourites are Silent Hill, Dead Birds, The Loved Ones, and May.

I love the classic ones (Exorcist, Carrie), and sometimes the really bad ones are campy enough to enjoy, but as a rule I don't like most horror movies.
