Love it. Dick Weed was given to me by a very good friend more than 10 years ago and I still use it today. It comes from my ability to be a real dick when I need to and my love for weed back then. I even use it as my email address

When my first nephew was born, I was only 7! He called me "the other one." My twin sister is Kelly and he couldn't pronounce Kendra so I was the other one. That nickname didn't actually become a nickname, but my second nephew (who we actually raise now) was born 2 years later and he called me "Kinga" (sounds just like king with an a.) and he did that for years!
Throughought my school years my parents, family and FRIENDS called me Kinga. Lol. I did not love it, but it was cute how it came about so I dealt with it OK.
I have been called Kinga until this year and now I'm Kinka! My neice who is 2 has just began to talk and she pronounces kendra as "Kinka" LOL. It's SOO weird how two of the kids pronounce my name so close together. Kinga and Kinka. It sounds funny when my fam or neice say "Kinka" in public because it sounds like kinky! Hee Hee. It's cute though, but I doubt I will ever lose these names! Lol

My nickname is actually a name I've been using as my online cognomen for about thirteen or so years now. One friend even introduces me to others with that name ... fortunately, it's a rather common name, so it doesn't raise eyebrows ... "Tess". I answer to it as much as my real name.
I've had a few in high school (Scully and Daria), but nobody calls me those anymore.

My nickname is Geo. My name is Solange. My sister used to call me Solangeo, and eventually shortened it. Only my very close friends and family call me it, and I like it that way. It's the only nickname I've ever liked. Sol, Solly, Sun-Orange, and the millions of others were terrible.

At my last job everyone refered to me as, "Tall Girl" or "Spooky Girl"... Now everyone just calls me Cat.

Legally I'm not the name I go by, I'm the full and formal version. But because my parents called me Betsey from birth, it's the only name I know. I get pissed when people try to add to it, I loath when people call me Betsey-Boop or anything like this. I'm not a child, so the cutsey names from it are misplaced, if you must pick something from it, just use Bets.

Woman and China.
Woman has been my online nickname for ages now and it's stuck. Even the friends I've met from online cannot seem to stop calling me Woman or China, China is what all my family calls me; even my neice an my nephew forget I have a name and I am Auntie China to them. At my fathers memorial service I was even written as "his third daughter China who oddly enough lives in China" in his obit (my family... we have a very interesting sense of humour).
I don't really have a choice to like them or not to like them. They are used.
But, I hated being called China for about threeish years. Then I just gave into everyone. Thankfully, I only see them all every once in a while!
