A question for the campers in the group. Do you use Propane or Butane?

Why do you prefer using one over the other for your camp lighting, cooking, heating needs? Thanks for sharing ideas and opinions on this.

I have been camping this year with a friend I have known for over 25 years and the camper uses propane.

OMG, the llama dung option cracked me up to no end! I was so not expecting that and it reminded me of the funny polls, or at least some of the funny options people would post in polls!

I have used both fuels while camping, depending on the length of the stay and if we hiked in, or drove in. And I have burned dried cattle dung in Arizona. I've even burned jackrabbit and other bunny droppings, but they were a pain in the ass to gather, LMAO! We were just kids though and I suspect it was a way to keep us busy and tire us out by having us go gather those little pebbles, LOL! Mean parents, hahaha. At the time, we were competing to see who could find the most, so we thought it was great fun. Luckily for us, my grandfather used to feed the rabbits and other desert wildlife, so we didn't have to look too hard. Oh yeah, we burned dried horse dung, too, and there was plenty of that as everyone had horses. OK, I will stop with the dung memories, lol!
