I just read a post about what milk do you like? and I’m not a huge fan of milk.

I’ve always wanted to try pure almond milk. I hear good things about it, and I wondering if it would be a good substitute for me. But I don’t know why I’m so sacred to try it. I'm hoping because I love almonds, that maybe I'll love almond milk.

I almond milk. That said, I prefer soy milk for tea and some types of cooking that require more creaminess. Almond milk has a bit less fat and less protein than soy, which makes it taste different. I really love the original and chocolate for drinking and cereal. Trader Joe's versions are good too and cheaper. I usually buy Blue Diamond and Trader Joe's because they don't require refrigeration (before opening). I think the Silk dark chocolate is slightly superior to the other chocolate flavors though.

I like all of the flavors, and I do drink it from time to time, but I prefer Silk and other types of soy milk over it for the most part

I've tried it and hated it, it doesn't remind me of almonds at all. I've tried all the alternatives to milk and the only one I love is the So Delicious organic coconut milk original flavor, it's naturally creamy and rich, plus it tastes like real coconut rather than coconut extract that the Silk brand sells. One more thing, all the Silk milk alternatives resemble watery rice milk with flavor extracts added in.

I prefer the vanilla variety. There's a brand that has it with 50% of sweetening, which is what I get. It's otherwise too sweet for my tastes, but the plain isn't appealing to me. I'll get the chocolate on occasion for a good "healthy" treat, especially during hormonal times of the month. It's best served ice cold.

We use this as an alternative to mix with our whey protein. That way, you eliminate some of the sugars while still getting most of the other benefits. We use the unsweetened or original, but have not tried the others.

Some brands do have an aftertaste but overall it is good.

I have never tried it. But I am not fond if there is a after taste. I just now tried some of my kids lactaid milk. It was not bad. I may try it just to see what it taste like.

i have had it in the past and liked it. I don't buy it often however because it is more expensive than regular milk.

Rice milk is a nice alternative too

I used to use Rice Dream on my cereal when I went dairy free for a while, but I'm back to regular old moo juice. I found I liked the rice milk better than I liked any of the soy milks I tried, & I don't remember almond milk being an available option at my grocery store at that time.
