Are you ready to buy an all electric car?

They say with subsidies and tax credits, the cost of an all electric car may be near zero soon. Would you get one in that case?

Zero cost - I don't think so. The subsidies are designed to reduce the premium and hassles (limited range) associated electric cars.

No I have no desire to install a 220v power supply at home - not can I afford to have a toy car around for running to the grocery.

Last point - I have no desire to deal with replacing thousands-of-dollars worth of batteries.

no thanks. I will buy what ever private businesses come up with and can market at a affordable price. Subsidies and tax credits means it just comes out of the tax payers pay checks.

I will stick with my gas powered car. No problems with it. And I paid for it.

If it were truly a free car, I would take it.

No thanks. I'll pass on the electric car. Too many negatives to deal with at this point.

What???! That's hard to believe, but if that's true, I guess it'd be hard not to. However, I'd have to do a nice test drive first. It definitely sounds good if it's that cheap.

In Montana--oh, no!!! Not going to happen. There are too few outlets and also many miles between some of the towns. We are populated and modern, but still have a lot of unpopulated, mountainous passes and areas to have an all electric car be practical.....and in the winter--you NEED a gas/diesel four wheel drive!!!!!!!
