I use shower gel and my partner uses bar soap. I even bought him his first loofah! I use bar soap over at his place but I think shower gel foams more and is much better for leg-shaving and such.

We both use shower gel. I don't like the smell of bar soap and it really feels like it just leaves you slimey instead of clean.

Bar soap, and only certain kinds. I have sensitive skin & can have reactions to a number of soaps, so I stick with what's safe & strongest. I feel cleaner washing with bar soap too.

Bar soap (Yardley's almond and oatmeal) and an exfoliating washcloth after I'm soaped up.

I prefer shower gel--I've just found better scents that way, and I love how it foams up in my loofah. I sometimes use Oil of Olay bar soap. My husband uses bar soap, I think--I don't think he's very picky, whatever's on the shower shelf will do.

Shower gel is better for shaving my legs and gets more lathery to me. My husband likes his bars of soap but for some reason refuses to use a loofah or washcloth when using a body wash. It's not a germ thing or anything like that, he doesn't like the texture or something like that.

My Man uses what I buy. Left up to him, he'll buy this horrible cheap shower gel from Aldi that, I am not kidding, smells like Sil-A-Gel!
I buy him Ax or Lever or Suave. So, he uses what I buy.
He also washes his hair with it, uses it to shave, anything. He's not a fussy man.
I hate the slime bar soap leaves behind. It's hard to clean off of the tub or the walls or the sink. I think we may have a bar of Lever somewhere and a bar of Neutrogena, but I don't know if I've bought bar soap in years.

I like Dove bar soap, but my man uses shower gel. I like to use my bar soap with an exfoliating cloth several times a week, it feels great! The other days I just use my Dove bar with no exfoliating cloth.

I use shower gel, I constantly drop bar soap, then slip on it. I'm really clumsy and bar soap just adds to it.

The hubby and I both use gel. Most bar soaps we've tried are all so dry. They just don't work.

I'll use whatever's around, but I prefer the gel over the bar stuff. On top of that, it's far more fun if you're taking a shower with your partner. Lathering them up with gel is more enjoyable than rubbing a rock of hardened fat all over them.

I have very dry skin so I use Dove Sensitive bars, but I love the scent of shower gels. I can manage shower gels in the spring and summer, but when the weather cools and the air dries out, back to the Dove.
