BEST BURGER EVER?????

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
I love BURGERS. We have tried them all over the USA. However, some "well rated" burger have left me flat. For the first time, I went to a RED ROBBIN (there is none for several states away from me), and it was AMAZING. GREAT food. SUPERB burger.

Closer to home, the best burger I can get is the SUPREME ANGUS burger at Ruby Tuesday. Juicy, thick and yummy.

SO, what is YOUR idea of the "best burger out there"????

If any of you live in California you know the best burger is IN&OUT Burger. I seriously had three of them yesterday (need I say it was a diet breaker?) ; )

a local restaurant where i live. fresh, local everything, it's succulent, juicy, and gooey with the proper cheese/bun/burger ratio.

Red Robin and the other chain restaurants aren't bad. But I agree with T&A, go local/private owner.

There's a local chain here called "Bagger Daves". They have the BEST burgers, imho.

Cookout.

And the burgers you can get on the bar menu link at Flemings Steak House. OMG so good. The Filet Mignon burger they have is to die, though it's a non traditional burger and maybe cheating. But they're others are great too. Sooo good.

The best burgers are the ones you make yourself. Well, unless you use those nasty frozen patties. BUT if I had to pick a non-homemade burger I'd go with Five Guys Burgers and Fries.

A Burger 25 just opened by us....smaller burger joints there's only two in my state so far but OH. MY. GOD.

Their burgers are to die for.

In my suburb and in the surrounding suburbs, there is a family-owned local chain of restaurants called Scotty P's. They make the best burgers I've ever had. We don't go very often since burgers are a rare treat for us, but we absolutely love the mushroom and Swiss burger with sauteed onions. We also have In-N-Out Burger restaurants here, and Scotty P's definitely beats their burgers (though we do like In-N-Out).

I agree with JR. Around here, the chains can't touch the privately owned places as far as quality. And I also don't like chains, especially Red Robin because the rarest they'll cook the burger is medium...I prefer my burgers damn near moo-ing.

There's a local little restaurant near where I live that makes the best burgers in the world. Besides that, I'm ashamed to say my favorite burgers are actually great value brand microwavable burgers.

I hate seeing just the title of this thread. All I've been craving lately is burgers, and I'm both vegan and gluten-free!

I tried In-N-Out, but wasn't impressed. My wife and I really like 5 Guys. Their burgers are excellent, and nothing else can compare. We don't even eat any other burgers besides theirs. And at the airport they have Bacon Egg and Chesse with a Patty, yum yum!
