Do you feel there are Angels among us?

And that is CRAZY! I mean.. that is crazy the shape. That gave me shivers, honestly.
Me too! When I was allowed back into our home after the State Crime Lab Investigation was done I was not sure of what I would find. The cleanup of a death is left up to the family, not performed by the state. It took me a few hours before I could go near the area where my husband was shot and died. A couple days later when I sat down to say my thoughts and prayers to him, I placed the angel down prior to actually sitting down myself. I had to take the picture to clarify to myself that I was not seeing things I might have wanted to see in a tragic and emotional time period. It has been 2 months and looking at the pics--there is no misinterpretation. My husband's blood is in the exact shape of the angel.

Very crazy, very comforting but still very heartbreaking.

I'm glad to hear some of those outside things have been dealt with and you are beginning to heal! I always look forward to talking to you whenever you feel like it. (I think you do a remarkable job about talking about it.)

Ok... Here's where the It-Guy goes and gets all Scientific but spiritual up in here....

(My own stance on the after life and life in general, its gonna sound weird but just humor me)

The law of conservation of energy states:

"Energy can be neither be created nor destroyed but only changed."

How does that have to do with death and being spiritual you may ask...

The human body works on electrical and chemical impulses for it to properly function. This would also mean that energy in the body is changed and used in different ways. Synthesizing food into energy and sugars and proteins into structure for example....Right?

(I know its getting weird hang with me on this one)

Memories and senses are electro-chemical too and they are stored in the brain and body. That's how you can remember things from your early childhood when you are in your 30's. When the body ceases to function I feel that that energy and information by proven physics is not destroyed but only changed. Possibly into something that we are unable to identify or experience. Energy is proven to not be lost... but where does it go?

Some scientists believe that the energy that leaves the body is the soul. Which I take comfort in because it is always possible to experience that energy again if its only been changed and not destroyed.

What I am saying is if all of that is true that would then mean that life does not stop when the body does. Do angels exist? I choose to believe they do. I hope that I haven't upset you in any way and I am so sorry for your loss js.

The whys and how come's are none of my business but I have lost people myself and I have experienced things that make me believe that there is more to life than what we know. I choose to believe that there is always a possibility of angels in a way it almost seems that what we know already proves it to be true.

God bless.

Thank you. You did not upset me in any way--if anything it clarified some of the thoughts and experiences I have had since my hubby died. I know he has been in this house with me and after I got our truck back from the shop.... let's just say I do not drive it alone. I greatly appreciate the time and thought you put into your answer!!

Once again you are very welcome. We all know its not easy but we cant know what you are experiencing. Heres sending some hugs from the North East and god bless.

It may never stop being heartbreaking, but I think you can take solace in knowing that he is still with you and always will be.

You are an amazing and resilient woman. We love you.

Thank you! Your comment brought tears to my eyes--it meant so much to me! I can feel when he is with me...it is a warmer and more complete feeling than when being in the house or our truck by myself. Then something happens...

I really damaged my 1971 Chevy truck engine and transmission when I jammed the shifter into Park while accelerating to 40MPH. I jumped out of the skidding truck and started running down our driveway... I did this when I arrived at the house after my hubby had been shot and I did not have any idea what had happened. A few days later I got a call from my hubby's closest friend telling me that he had been up there in his house...he asked me to come over. When I pulled into his driveway, my truck died and would not start again. The friend came out, looked at my truck and tolf me that the bent rod caused my carburetor to come loose. My gas was pouring all over the engine and spark plugs...He spent 6 hours rebuilding my carb and getting a new gasket. My truck could have blown sky high if the gas would have sparked. Especially after evaporation and the massive amount of fumes.....

Whoa... that gave me chills!

That is... whoa!

Do you think that it was a sign that this friend called you to come up so that he could fix the problem before anything bad happened to you?

Definitely! He was my husband's friend and while we are friendly, we never called each other or talked much. I didn't think a lot of this since it happened so soon after his death-but the friend called me back yesterday to say he has not seen him since then--thought it was odd. Then my hubby's aunt called me behind her husband's back to say she has been seeing him and felt like she needed to make amends for what she did after he died.....that happened today. Soooo thinking he is going where he is needed to tie up his loose ends.

Holy crap! He sure is one busy guy and I thought that before reading this new info on here! I had no idea others were seeing him, too! I know how hurtful it was when those your hubby was convinced would be there for you, weren't. I have absolutely no doubt after reading this that he has been checking out on those things because they bother him, too. He is trying his best to set things right for you and them, to a lesser extent. It's really something else that all these others (and you know that I know there are more than just these ones mentioned here) are being influenced by him, too! I know you have an affinity for being receptive to seeing these signs, but I am shocked that others are feeling his influence as well. That's a helluva lot of willpower your hubby is bringing to this -- that's all I can think. It has to be his determination and love for you that is letting him get through to so many people. This is really extraordinary stuff!

I am also amazed you have dodged a fiery death in a car at least twice that I know of now!

Edeneve: Thanks for the hugs, fist of all and the sentiment! Also, in answer to your confusion about where the link came from...the system was probably thinking the "Awww" you posted was the beginning of a web address. You likely unintentionally put a space between the "aw" and the remaining "www" you typed, so the system thought the "www" was going to be a link. (Something similar happened to someone else recently in a comment and I figured it out the same way.) back at ya!
