I've never been out of the country. Sometimes I wish I lived in Europe where it would be easier to see other places. It's hard for me to imagine now being able to drive into another country within a day!

i was really hoping to go to Balize for 2 weeks in the summer with school, while it's the cheapest of the study abroad programs offered at my school, it's doubtful i'll be able to get the money together in time. But since it turns out i wont be finished with my degree this year i guess i still have time.

As of right now, we're not planning to leave the country. My in-laws do live in Alaska, though. It's possible that we could decide to go see them later in the year, in which case we'd drive through Canada to get there.

I am not in my home country right now and unfortunately won't be able to go back for he next few years. It would cost me over $2000 to go back for a holiday, and I simply can't afford it right now.
