Only consignment stores and only with a friend of mine who thrives on them, a really good shopper and bargain hunter. I only go shopping when I absolutely need something. As far as thrift stores.... I got burnt out on them long ago and therefore avoid them.

Ours smells of smoke. Maybe reek is a better word even. The books feel grimy. I just can't. I do send hubby there for his work jeans though. Unlike actual stores, the thrift store will usually have his size.

Hell yes! I have gotten tons of sweet loot from the Goodwill. And everything's really cheap. Obviously you have to sift through the less than awesome stuff, but it's like the thrill of the hunt.

I like them, but only if they organize their clothing by size. The Goodwills in my area mix ALL sizes together, so you literally have to sort through every item. Ugh. I won't do it anymore. And I agree with the poster who said consignment stores. There aren't many in Columbus, but I love the ones we do have.
