I've been camping my entire life. My parents set my Pack 'N Play up in the tent when I was only a couple months old and I've been camping ever since. I love "dry" camping with just a tent and a cooler, no electricity or running water. Even better if it's in a National Park near a river or some hiking trails. My parents prefer camping in an RV with full hook ups now that they're older. I tend to camp in the mountains with friends and on lake with my parents.
Yes, we camp often as a family. Before kids we tent camped, and now we tend to sleep on an air mattress in the bed of my SUV, just because the little ones are little, and we like the safety/temperature control/etc.

I use to go camping all the time. since I was lucky enough to live in a small town where it was fairly easy to go camping. I always camped the 'hard way' as people I know call it. With just a tent, sleeping bags, food and fire equipment. Sure. I love camping, even though it can be rough if it's cold, or it decides to rain on you. As long as you have the right stuff to keep dry and warm. it can be a barrel of fun.
The last camping trip I went on was in my hometown with a friend of mine. She was a expert in camping, and my grandma's house was right down the road, so I could visit and use her shower. haha. It was a terrific time, despite the drunken neighbor, and I'd certainly do it again.
I love camping, and I miss it. Camping was a huge part of my childhood, living in such a wooded area. My entire adult life I have lived in the city, so I now I do zero camping.

Yes! There is nothing wrong with renting a cabin, but that's not camping.

My family goes "camping" without me, but that means renting a cabin and such.

Ditto.
Around here no one wants to go camping because it is not clean and unsafe because of wild animals.
We camp several times a year; we used to do more. We do both car camping and backpacking. So far this year, we've just done one night of car camping. We have an overnight backpacking trip planned for a couple of weeks from now...

I LOVE camping! I go every year! I haven't been able to get away for a long backpacking trip in two years, but I love sleeping under the stars.
I love camping in my younger days of course before marriage my then boyfriend and I would go all over California sometimes hitchhiking with only backpacks and a 2 person tent. Later on as I became older and married we had an A-liner pull trailer, kind of like a pop-up tent trailer but all hardsided and of course A framed shape. It was so light I could push it around myself on flat ground. I like a little roughing it while camping, sit by the fire at night, with minimal luxuries, those I can get at home.
LOVE camping! I have gone every summer since I was like 5, and we still do annual memorial day trips with 3 generations. My parents, Hubby and I, and all 3 kids go for a 4 day trip, always tent camping.
My step-kids first time camping they were 1 and 3 (their first summer with us) and my daughter went her first time before she as a year old.
I need to have access to books to read, and enjoy at least one weekend a year camping in order to remain sane
Yes, we do and it's a lot of fun with our little girl (she's 5). We camp with tents, sleeping bags, camp fires. Not quite the basics but some comforts thrown in. Hubby used to hike and camp several times a year in the Scottish Highlands (he's even climbed Ben Nevis on one camping trip) and I know he misses it since moving to the USA
