Always! We celebrate Easter every year, obviously for Christian reasons. I'm sorry you're alone this Easter You could go out and have some fun just for yourself. Make it a day just for you. That would be nice!

I've been preparing all evening and night! I make a bunny cake every year and I have had a struggle with it this time. I went to Wal-Mart earlier for the stuff to make the bunny cake and they were totally out of strawberry icing! How does Wal-mart run out of that?! Lol. So he's just going to have to be nude for the night and my lovie is bringing the icing by tomorrow so I can dress him before the company sees his naked body! Ha Ha.
We'll be cooking too and hiding eggs for the kids. Usually my mom cooks something, I cook a few things, my grandmother makes potatoe salad, etc. I'm always the dessert person though! My bunny cake is a tradition.

I think if I were alone, I'd have a nice dinner for myself. It seems like with family I always make what my niece, daughter, sister, etc. will eat. lol. Anyway, I believe this year is mac n cheese (the showy kind), ham, dinner rolls, and whatever I bring for dessert. Picky eaters aren't interested in anything else.

typically we've done with my IL's and yes, they do dinner. (Catholic so it's a big thing for them) Ham, potatoes, etc...
We moved though so we're doing it with my family this year. Typically it's a no big fuss holiday (though sometimes we'll do a ham or something, just with my parents though) But my aunt/uncle invited us and my grandpa over today. So that's the plan.
Not sure what's on the menu though.

Yes we are today. But we aren't doing a dinner. We are doing a brunch in an hour. I need to get off EF now. But just can't...lol

It's Sunday so we just have a roast dinner like we do every Sunday.

My girlfriend and I are too busy to travel home to visit family, so we are having our own Easter dinner.

This year we had lamb stuffed with goat cheese and (I think) basil, scalloped potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, Caesar salad, strawberry ice cream and fancy strawberry cake, all homemade!

This was my first year away from home for Easter, so I don't think my parents cooked.
05/07/2012
Yeah, my family makes a big meal.
03/07/2013
Yep, something fancy. It varies a lot from year to year, so who knows what I'll get this year
03/07/2013
Not really but we usually end up having lamb or something
03/07/2013
We have been getting Chinese food for holidays because they never are closed. When we were younger, my mom cooked, but not the same thing every time, usually we got a Honeybaked ham.
