So does anyone own an external hard drive at all? What kind and size? Do you actually ever use yours?

Also how about total data storage between USB flash drives, internal/external drives, consoles, camera flash cards, cell phones etc.

I have a basic 500GB Western Digital External Hard drive that uses an AC adapter for power and USB cable for data transfer. Between my computer, flash cards, usb drives, ps3 I probably have around 2TB's of total data storage. But I am lucky to use even 200GB of that.

I have an external hard drive that is 1TB. and I have two flash drives that probably total around.... maybe 8gb? I don't remember how big the first one I got is, but it's not very big. Maybe 256mb? The other one is 6gb. Then again, I could be wrong about those flash drives.

I have many, Roco toshipa and WD. But WD is the most usefull because it has a security lock, so I don't need to buy an additional security software.

I have 3x2TB, 3x1TB, 3x500GB and a bunch of random flash drives that probably add up to about 100GB. I'm a total geek though, and have tons of music, movies, tv shows, video games, wii games, custom build guitar hero games and random computer-based projects that take up tons of space (across my 5 computers, wii, xbox360)

First of all, Maple Syrup.

Now, to business.
I have 5 external hard drives, totalling to about 3 TB.
I have at least 20 Flash Drives, totalling to about 1 TB.
Plus, I have an external File Server, about 3 TB.

Out of the approximate 7 TB, I use all of it.
I think I need more space.

I used to use external hard drives, but with built-in memory becoming so big out of the box, I haven't had much need for extra space these last couple years.

I have a WD 500GB external hard drive that is self-powered and uses USB for data transfer. Seems to work for my needs for now, mostly use it for backing up music and photos.

For now Master blessed me with one of His Old 500 GB external drives because of getting a 2 TB one for Himself, but W/we intend to get a similar or larger one for me in the future...
Oh, and He gave me another one of His too, I guess it has the same amount of space, haven't checked it out yet, but it is strictly only for work... ^^

I used to have one but have no use now since I do not have my own computer.

I have a 500gb external drive that stores my music, that's about it. Nowhere near full, but that's okay with me it was very comparable in price to any of the other options when I bought it and has worked for almost 4 years now, so I don't have any complaints.

I have several external 2TB hard drives. I use one just for music and a few for photos and video I've created. I can easily shoot 16GB of photos in one outing with my SLR. Recording 1080p video eats up at least 6GB/hr, much more if it's uncompressed. All of those drives have duplicates for backups. I have another strictly for recording HDTV (there's no need for a backup since I'll watch the shows and delete them).

I have a 500gb Seagate. Or maybe 320. I don't know. I can't ever imagine needing terabytes of data for anything.
