I don't like tumblr, I hate twitter (I only use it to enter giveaways and promote my blog). So Im not really sure. Im actually surprised that twitter seems to be bigger than facebook already. Im tellin' ya though, if facebook would knock off all the damned changes and messing with our privacy policies and settings, they would remain 'the big thing' for a while. They just can't help themselves with changin' shit around...and its pissing off a lot of people!

Tumblr can't replace what Facebook has. Tumblr is more entertainment but it doesn't do much to really connect people since the interaction is largely limited to reblogging. One thing I really don't like about Tumblr.

I doubt Facebook will go away unless something like G+ or something else with similar capabilities "replaces" it.

Twitter's great and everything, but it's not the same as Facebook. So when Facebook dies, I foresee another website popping up and taking over that niche - I don't think Google+ is good enough to do so.

I have never seen the big thing of Facebook. I find it wildly funny. I know people who spend so much time on it. But then again... I spend way too much time here on EF!!!

I don't think FB is "dying." Then again, I'm not one of those people who are on every single minute of their lives. I get on once every couple of days and only use Tumblr, LinkdIn, Twitter and the others for my business. I really don't think FB's going anywhere anytime soon. Not for the people my age anyways (early 20's).

If all FB users are like me who never checks their page, FB will definitely phase out.

I don't think Facebook is dying at all. Last I checked, there were enough accounts for something like 2/3 or 3/4 of the planet to have an account a person. I know there are a lot of duplicate accounts, but still. Given how integrated into just about everything Facbeook is, it's probably not going away any time soon.

Not to mention their recent IPO bid. All they have to do is figure out a few of the kinks and bam! They'll be golden.

I think i just died. Google+ really!? The day google + makes it as a successful internet site, we as a society will have officially lost any remaining dignity.

Totally agree. I can't even go on a FB hiatus b/c of how it ties into my work day. Not to mention the social aspect.

I don't think FB is dying. that's how I communicate with all of my friends and haven't tried anything else besides myspace when it was strong and that was before coming to FB.

G+ is too FB-like to really take off. Too late, Google. Too late.

I agree with this. At least Google did one thing right. Well, two. They have the best search engine and Internet browser out there. Now if only Google Chrome had a "Set image as background" option. Even Internet Explorer has that and it was the last to have tabs. -_-"

I have so many groups and everything on facebook its disgusting! But really if I let my self get carried away I could spend all day on there and never get bored..... but I don't.

Its not going anywhere until somebody has the same concept but tweeked a little better. After all thats how we all went from myspace to facebook! lol

I doubt facebook is going anywhere. I am on several times a day to stay in touch with family, play a game and just cruise my favorite TV shows. Am I a nerd? Sure.... and proud of it.

I was never a big fan of what became the facebook. I doubt I'd be sad to see it die. I don't think it's going anywhere atm though.

Yeah, I agree. Pinterest is the next big thing right now. I really don't like it when Facebook changes stuff and the more they change the more I want to just delete my account. I can't help it though, I'm totally addicted to it and check it daily.
