Ok, I don't know if this counts or not. My first concert was at my high school and the band was Veer (they are now called Veer Union).

First was Bon Jovi, and I was maybe 12-13? It was before they hit it big when 'Slippery When West's came out; their biggest hit at the time was "Runaway." I guess since they're from Jersey and I grew up in PA, they were still making a name for themselves, the tickets were free to anyone who made a "Wilkes-Barre Welcomes Bon Jovi" poster.

Chaka-Khan...I was 13, but we managed to get on her tour bus, into the after-show party, and her guitarist Snuffy took my friends and I up to his hotel room "while he changed." We were too young to think anything of it, but the look on his face when we told him our ages makes much more sense in retrospect. To his credit, he was a perfect gentleman, went into the bathroom to change, then took us to the party.

Sheena Easton (also by age 14). Bon Jovial again around 16.

High school and college were mostly dedicated to Broadway shows (200+,"Les Miserables leading the pack at 26-27 times, and the only show I've seen twice in one day; yes, I know I have a problem). Only concerts were Peter, Paul & Mary and Meatloaf.

As an adult, there are few bands/muscians worth the hassle, especially in large venue
s. Club shows: She Wants Revenge, Rock Kills Kid, and Voltaire. Large venues: Leonard Cohen, some Emo-palooza thing a few years ago with Linkin' Park, a bunch of people I don't know, and (my reasons for going) My Chemical Romance and Placebo; and Prince.

Two I never miss: The Indigo Girls and NIN.

I snuck in to see the Genitorturers at Club Shampoo when I was 15. They're still one of my favorite bands, but I'll never look at a blow pop in the same way ever again.

My first concert was the "Not So Silent Night" concert in Indy in 2003. Ill Nino (who I had barely heard of and who sucked ass), Puddle of Mudd, and Linkin Park. I was 15 and obsessed with Linkin Park, but actually enjoyed Puddle of Mudd a lot more. It was a pretty fun time.

He-he, I've been to several concerts by local bands (most of them - to watch my friends performing), but to 1 real event only And actually, it was just 2 days ago Me and bf went to see an old electropop band, which was very popular here in Russia around 2000. Brought back a lot of childhood memories ^__^
