From what I've heard from my mother, my aunt's hair was blonde when she was little and slowly turned a sort of medium brown color over the years.
These days she dyes it so I have no clue what it is now, but it's probably still medium brown.

When I was a kid I had very light blond hair. By the time I was in high school it was sort of dirty blond or very light brown. Now I'm still dirty blond but going grey LOL!

my stepdad went from white blond as a kid to nearly black as an adult - obviously it was a gradual change. it's pretty common.
and my mom's hair when from blonde to brown (or at least quite a lot darker) when she was pregnant with me. hormones are weird.

By the time he was a pre-teen, he had flaming red hair. Now, at 30, his hair has a brownish tint. My oldest son was born with red hair, which turned white blond when he was about 6 months old. I remember a neighbor stopping me and saying, "What happened to his hair?!" About a year ago (at 7), it started turning darker, and now is turning back to red. My youngest son was born with red hair that is turning brown.

Yep. Brother, father and I were all born blonde and were blonde up into kindergarden (or in my father's case, father). We have brown hair now.

My siblings were blond until puberty when they darkened to brown within about a year or two. I, however have always been brown, but have white & clear hairs interspersed in it & they have increased with age. Interestingly, The white hairs come and go from the same follicle. You can see strands that start dark, then partway down go white & then revert! This has been happening my whole life & since they're pretty much a clear white, they kinda blend in like highlights unless someone really looks closely.
