Do you ever hate work so much you want to scream and quit (or maybe not in that order?)

In this marketplace, few of us can afford to lose a job, so we buck up and "take it", but the politics of my job almost had me quit on the spot today. Anyone else get furious at work?

Perceptive forum discussions on Desensitizing creams:

Bourbon Ice Cream
2 cups heavy whipping cream 2 cups half and half 1/2 cup nonfat dry milk powder 6 large egg yolks 1/2 cup sugar 1/4 cup (packed) dark brown sugar 1/4.

Are you a screamer? What kind of noises do you make when you orgasm? If any.
Some of us are outright screamers, some quiet as a mouse (I assume mice don't scream when they Come, I could be wrong) others grunt or cry or do other

Cream Pies or Fruit Pies?
Now is the moment of truth everyone? Which is it? CREAM OR FRUIT?

Coffee creamer whats your favorite flavor?
I was just wondering if anyone had a favorite flavor of coffee creamer. There are so many weird flavors out now so pick one. lol

When you mix coffee with ice cream which flavor do you like to be dominant?
Oh my, I can't resist to stuff my coffee with icecream that I just mildly feel the coffee taste!

Not me. I'm actually working my dream job at a company that focuses on having a positive environment so I've yet to want to scream.

I realize I'm in the minority, though, and I'm not trying to rub it in. Before this job I definitely was at a job that made me want to scream almost nightly.

YES!!!

Although not the actual job. I love the work I do!!! But my bosses can make me want to scream so bloody loud and do what I can to make them see the light. Because honestly, dirty old traditional Chinese men who think because I am a woman and not wanting to get married, who openly talks about sex, there is something wrong with me.

Anyone would scream!

Plenty of days like that, but I realize I am lucky to have a job in the first place and should take what I can get.

My previous job I wanted to quit so bad that I was willing to stop working in the medical field and work in fast food, meaning a HUGE cut in pay, just to escape.

My ex mother-in-law was my manager, and treated me like total crap, blackmailed me, and kept trying to frame me for things that I could never prove (she was BFF's with the boss).

It was an AWFUL situation and I ended up being hospitalized for panic and anxiety attacks on more than one occasion.

Not at the current "job" because I am now self employed but at my previous jobs YESSSSS!!! I have always hated rude customers but its usually management that can make things so much harder. I didn't quit at the time because I had to pay rent and bills but if I were a teenager at home I would of done it in a flash.

As a self-employed business owner--hell yes!!! Every time I need to do the bookwork, place orders and find out my rush job material is backordered, a rude customer just does not get that there job is NOT more important than the ones who came in orior to his.Um....I will quit while I am still in a good mood.

About once a month depending on the circumstances. I love my job itself, its usually management and/or a lack of communication that angers me.

I hate work when it is slow, or I am working with someone I just dont like, and sometimes when we are doing a job that is less then nice. Other then that, it is just a job that pays the bills.

I quit a high paying job after 12 yrs because I hated it so much. I took my sick leave as soon as I'd accrue it. I literally became depressed and suicidal at the thought of having to go into work. I finally decided I'd rather struggle w/ money than to live like that anymore. I'm not one to "snap" and hurt others, but I can honestly say I was ready to hurt myself rather than endure another day there. It was terrible, but now that I'm at a MUCH LOWER paying job, I stress about money, but I am so much happier.

Yes, there are many of those nights. Being a nurse is hard work but I do love it. It is all of the extraneous shit that makes my job bad. Usually the patients aren't the issue. It's their f ing family members and Docs that have to be power hungry ass holes!!!

The sort of things that piss me off don't make me want to quit. I have other outlets for that frustration.

I'm only working at an on-campus cafe and market right now and I'm so tired of working in food service it isn't even funny. Yesterday, our weekend opener didn't show up so I had to run up to campus and open our store 2 hours late. Then our closer didn't show up so I had to close the store by myself as well. I worked all day long because no one would show up to shifts. And I'm not even the student manager. My SM was out of town and asked me to do everything for her. So yes, last night, by the 10th hour of my shift, I was ready to scream and quit.

I wouldn't say my job is easy going but it has to be done. Yes I get frustrated but you cant show the patient frustration.

Usually it's pretty easy-going where I work, so I've never really wanted to quit on the spot. I've gotten frustrated to point of almost walking off the job/taking an extra break before though.
I'm glad I don't usually have to deal with customers because some of them I'd have some pretty choice words for. But if a customer pisses me off enough, I'll redirect them elsewhere and walk away. I'm past the stage in my life where I feel like I should stand there and take personal attacks from people who don't know me.

My place of work is relatively laid back, but my supervisors can coworkers who are on the same level as me sometimes become "clique-ish" which I find bothersome. I am very middleman. I do not judge people on anything but their work and how they behave in the workplace. My coworkers and supervisors are not like that, and it frustrates me.

I try my best to ignore it because, yes, if I left, I would be out of work and not be able to support my family. I do not become aggravated by isolated situations, it's more of things that are continual offenses that bother me.
