Yup, that's right, I about chit a brick last night when I heard that NO ONE had hit the jackpot. Happy, because that means that MAYBE justtttt maybe, I'd be a lucky winner next week (yea right lol!).

Anyways, I was wondering how many of you have been following this Mega Millions "record high in the history of the Mega millions". Everyone here seems to be talking about it. Guys at work are clamoring about it. You even see folks on Facebook that are buying up a ton of tickets, then they are saying "If you share/like my page and this is a winning ticket, I will share my winnings with everyone that shares/likes!"

Now, craziness maybe, but one heck of a way to market your business/fan page eh? LOL

Just wondered how many of you out there are buying up tickets and if anyone else has seen some crazy stuff going on since its hit this high?

haha I actually played last night! First time I ever played the lottery in my life. With everyone talking about it I felt like I was a dummy for not at least TRYING to win. Like I told a buddy of mine "a dollar a little bit of hope won't break the bank!"

yeah, we're starting to feel like its a lost cause too. but hey, a few bucks a week isn't much of anything. we're pretty broke BUT if we didn't spend it on the few lotto tickets we buy, we'd find something else that was junk to spend it on.

either way-id rather try for a few million with those few bucks haha

I played for the first time ever for a chance at the Mega Millions. Didn't win, which didn't surprise me. That money probably would have ended up going to my weekly soda fund. I do on occasion buy scratch offs though. Those are more fun and I have better luck. (Won $53 once!)

Oh definitely with the scratch offs. We've won $50 once on one. We've only won $4 on the mega lol.

Im supposing that its time to change our strategy and switch back to the scratch offs lmao

Oh yes, trust me when I say that me and my mom are pretty bummed out that we didn't win the lotto. lol. The other night we talked on the phone laughing about all the crazy things we would do if we were rich. It was so much funny! I would love to go on a huge shopping spree... Oh what a dream.
