Love to be in love

I'm sorry you were hurt, but I am glad you have come to a point where you can open your heart once again. As for your question, love is the most amazing feeling. I cannot even describe it, but suddenly everything in life seems brighter to me.

I've never really been in love & that is so depressing I can't stand it!

I can't say that I love falling in love. To me that's a trap, it has to keep happening - which doesn't bode well for long term relationships.

I certainly enjoy being in love with my partner - and what truly amazes me is how the love grows deeper over time. To me this is the opposite of loving to fall in love.

I love falling in love and all the beautiful and new feelings you have for each other. I love that feeling and wish it would extend easier into the relationship after that. For some reason I can't seem to keep anyone in love with me. So I end up having to suppress a lot.

I think I tend to be more like Gunsmoke in this regard. It's not the initial falling in love that I love so much - it's the actual loving, as I feel the bond of love growing deeper... that's what I love. As I feel his love for me growing, I feel secure and happy... and as I feel my love for him continuing to grow stronger and deeper, I feel even happier and safer.

As Lao Tzu said: Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.

Falling in love is a blast!!! But I am the most in love with staying in love. Falling in love is easy; effortless. That's why they call it "falling." I get a happier feeling when I stay in love for a long time. I am so fortunate to have a man who makes me continue to find myself falling even though things aren't "new" anymore. Staying in love takes work...making someone fall deeper in love is a task...and I just feel like that's where the reward is...
